PROJECT DETAIL

Marian Catholic College

Marian Catholic College Kenthurst by FAL Construction

The new creative and performing arts and general learning building at Marian Catholic College is the first new building on the College Campus since the BER funded Hall in 2009.

This new facility is the first stage in providing modern learning facilities for a student population that has predominantly been housed in demountable buildings.

A three storey concrete and steel building, it is located at the public entrance to the College and forms a sheltering new entry portal into the campus via a wide processional stair.

On the public facing lower ground floor there are two large general learning spaces and breakout spaces design to accommodate contemporary learning and teaching.

With a desire to elevate the visibility of the performing arts within the College, a large dance and drama space opens onto a refurbished courtyard on the ground level.

Adjacent foyer spaces are designed not only to facilitate circulation through the building, but adapt to suit individual learning support to hosting a music recital or student exhibition.
